Addressing Homelessness: Proud to serve on the Board at the Door of Hope - Salvation Army Homeless Sub-Committee addressing homelessness in San Diego. We were joined today by District Attorney Summer Stephan and Chief Deputy District Attorney Tracy Prior discussing the complexity of homelessness along with a client centered approach aimed at prevention, trauma, path to housing and strategic resource services. We are committed to making a difference for our communities and our San Diego families.
These are our kids - it's our communities kids. When they suffer, we all suffer. These kids touch so many other lives - family, teachers, and coaches and they are our future generation. Domestic Violence is generational. If they end up going down the wrong path, we go with them as a community. There is a direct link to our homeless crisis, drug and alcohol addiction, and those in our prisons.
