The Thumbprint Project Foundation and the Board of Directors are PROUD to be

the recipient of the 2019 Lincoln Club Cares Award received on November 18,

2019.

The Lincoln Club members are united by a desire to see our community grow in

safety, quality of life, and opportunity for all San Diegans. The Thumbprint Project

Foundation was recognized based on the work furthering these goals. The

Thumbprint Project Foundation was chosen out of 8 other prominent foundations

in San Diego that were represented.

Thank you to Lincoln Club Cares for this award. This award will help us bring

awareness and make a positive impact the victims of Childhood Domestic

Violence and our communities.

March 30, 2020 - The Thumbprint Project Foundation was honored to help during this time of uncertainty and provide and deliver much needed essential necessities today, cases of diapers and wipes, to our partner - The Door of Hope-Salvation Army - benefitting the homeless children who have been impacted by Childhood Domestic Violence. 
These homeless mothers and children have not only been impacted by Domestic Violence but now the fallout of COVID-19. These women have been working hard in their transitional process back into society on the 7-acre campus. They have now experienced loss of jobs / income, anxiety, and fear for the future of their children is real.

Childhood domestic violence is among the most underreported crimes worldwide. It is happening in our community and sometimes right next door. These children are trapped behind closed doors with no voice. THANK YOU KUSI for helping us build awareness in our community!

Kristie Bruce-Lane, President - The Thumbprint Project Foundation and its Board of Directors are proud to co-sign and support San Diego County District Attorney Summer Stephan and San Diego City Attorney Mara W. Elliott opposing the 40% budget cut to 2021 Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) funding. We will continue to advocate for crime victims to receive the support they need to regain peace and fulfillment in their lives.  

Kristie Bruce-Lane, President - The Thumbprint Project Foundation and its Board of Directors are proud to partner with the Boys & Girls Club of San Marcos focusing on our "Shoes That Bring Change" program. Together we are able to provide shoes benefiting those at-risk school aged children in need. These children are in need of some of the most basic necessities that others may take for granted. Thank you UT Shoe Fund and Boys & Girls Club of San Marcos for partnering in building our communities together!

The Thumbprint Project Foundation is proud to partner with the Door of Hope-Salvation Army to benefit those homeless children in need. Not all kids come from "safe homes".  Here at the Door of Hope,  they can begin their transitional process  after experiencing trauma, to a brighter and healthier future. Utilizing this grant from our foundation's "Shoes for Change" program we are able to provide a basic necessity that so many of us take for granted.
